Welcome to "The Fearless Shopper".  What's a fearless shopper?  I am because I'm not afraid to rock a shirt I found at a clothing swap (yes, quality free stuff is within your reach; more on swaps later) with a purse from the Salvation Army, and a pair of boots from a consignment shop.  Are you with me?  To be a fearless shopper you can't be afraid to get your hands dirty, literally.  Like buried treasure, I mine for shoes, clothing, jewelry and accessories at discount stores, 99 cent stores, thrift stores, flea markets, and consignment shops. I also know how to work a coupon for major department stores and retail websites.  And through this blog I will give fellow frugal fashionistas the 411 on the best bargains in New York City and nationwide.
